  • 1 pint Fresh Strawberries Select large, evenly shaped strawberries
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 24 chips Mini Chocolate Chips For eyes
  • 12 sticks Small Pretzel Sticks

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Select the largest and most evenly shaped strawberries.
  2. Cut off the green tops, leaving a small amount of green for the hat stems.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese frosting onto each strawberry to create Santa's belly.
  5. Place two mini chocolate chips on the frosting for Santa's eyes.
  6. Break a small pretzel stick in half to make the hat brim. Stick the broken pretzel piece into the frosting on top of the strawberry.
  7. Optionally, use a tiny dab of extra frosting to attach a smaller piece of pretzel stick on top of the hat brim for a hat point.
  8. Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving for firmer frosting.

Notes

For a more festive touch, consider using red and white sprinkles around the cream cheese frosting. You can also use different types of pretzels for a unique look.
