  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 14 ounces Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce can
  • 0.5 cup Chopped Pecans or Walnuts optional
  • 1 tablespoon Orange Zest optional, for extra flavor

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy. An electric mixer can be used for easier blending.
  3. Beat in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gently stir in the cranberry sauce and orange zest (if using) until evenly distributed.
  5. Fold in the chopped nuts (if using).
  6. Pour the mixture into an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and bubbly around the edges. Do not overbake.
  8. Let the dip cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with crackers, graham crackers, pretzels, or your favorite chips.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese. You can also add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the dip for a warm spice note. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
