  • 1 pound Fresh Green Beans trimmed
  • 1 10.75 ounce can Cream of Mushroom Soup condensed
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup French Fried Onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Wash and trim the green beans. Place them in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  3. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the green beans in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the green beans are tender.
  5. Stir in half of the French fried onions during the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
  6. Top with the remaining French fried onions during the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
  7. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can use half and half or heavy cream instead of milk. You can also add other vegetables like mushrooms or shredded carrots. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
