- Wash all berries thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes. Remove any seeds.
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed watermelon, sliced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
- Drizzle the lime juice over the fruit mixture.
- Add honey or maple syrup if desired, and gently toss to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld (optional, but recommended).
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired, and serve chilled.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a splash of Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur. You can also substitute other berries like cherries or cranberries.
