Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Green Apple
  • 1 Red Apple
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Kiwi
  • 1 cup Grapes (green and/or red)
  • 0.5 cup Strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon Chocolate Chips Optional, for eyes and mouths
  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt or Whipped Cream Optional, for ghosts

Equipment

  • Large Platter or Plate
  • Knife
  • Spoon

Method

Instructions
  1. Wash all fruits thoroughly under cold running water.
  2. Peel the orange, banana, and kiwi. Cut the apples into bite-sized pieces or wedges. Halve or quarter the strawberries.
  3. Arrange the fruit on a large platter or plate. Consider grouping similar colors or shapes together for visual appeal.
  4. **Optional Spooky Details:** Create ghost bananas by using a spoon to make a small indentation at the top of a banana. Add a dollop of yogurt or whipped cream for the ghost's body and use chocolate chips for eyes.
  5. Make spider grapes by arranging a small bunch of green grapes and using two chocolate chips as eyes on one or two grapes.
  6. Cut the orange into thick slices to resemble pumpkins. If desired, carefully carve simple jack-o-lantern faces (adult supervision required).
  7. Create apple worms by arranging apple slices end-to-end in a worm shape.
  8. Serve and enjoy your spooky Halloween fruit platter!

Notes

Feel free to add other fruits to customize your platter! Consider adding blueberries, raspberries, or mandarin oranges. You can also use different types of chocolate or candy to decorate.
