  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 Taco seasoning packet
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 15 ounce can Black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 15 ounce can Corn drained
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Green onions chopped
  • 1 Avocado diced
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid is mostly absorbed.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the rinsed and drained black beans and drained corn.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to a large serving bowl.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, and diced avocado.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips. Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, and jalapeƱos.

Notes

For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped jalapeƱos. You can also use different types of cheese or beans to customize the flavor.
